IS 206 Distributed Computing Applications and Infrastructure, Group B
Group B members are:

Carol Anderson Alison Brandt Haydee Hernandez Mohammed Shamma

Projects:
1. Postcards from Berkeley

Send friends and family postcards of UC Berkeley Campus sites.

3. Message-oriented middleware (MOM)
In this project we attempted to answer the following questions about MOM:
What is the intended purpose or uses of this product category?
What are the primary features or functions of this category?
What are the companies or standards groups involved in this category?
How are their features of capabilities differentiated?
What techniques covered in class are exploited in this category?
What, if any, are the controversial issues (technical or non-technical)? Can you speculate on the future evolution of this category? Do we need it?
2. Server Documentation

A joint group project with Group A and Group C on documenting the Netscape Collabra Server 3.0.

4. Network and Distributed Computing Vulnerabilities
How do we overcome increasing dependence on networked computuing and vulnerability to disruption of the networked computing infrastructure?
