In-Depth Investigation Assignment
 
This course is in a rapidly-changing area with a wide range of resources available.   The resources listed in this syllabus are a sampling from a much wider range of possibilities.

You are to pick one of the topics covered in this course and become a resource for the rest of the class.  You are to (1) identify added useful resources, which you will make available through a web page and/or other appropriate means; (2) be a primary resource in the class session that addresses your topic; and (3) to a limited degree, consult with fellow students when their final projects need resources in your area.

Whether we will have one person assigned to a topic, or a team, will depend on the number of students in the class.  You must clear your topic with me.

Deadlines:
    To choose a topic:  Feb 1.
    To have a web page available for other students: Feb. 15.
    To be in-class resource: the date that your topic is discussed.
    A 2-page synposis of major topics, issues, and resources in your area: April 26.

Possible topics include:
