Biography
Prof. Van House's research centers around understanding epistemic communities and work practices, and their relationship to design and use of information artifacts (such as documents) and systems, especially digital libraries. Her current research is concerned with issues of trust and credibility in networked information, and work practice in the maintenance of an epistemic community.
