The Cooperative Association for Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA) is
a collaborative undertaking to research and promote greater
cooperation in the engineering and maintenance of a robust, scalable
global Internet infrastructure. CAIDA provides a neutral framework to
support these cooperative endeavors.
In this article, the authors describe a generalized pricing model
for commercial Web services that can be implemented by service
providers for service requesters.
Summarizes state of art in Internet performance monitoring and workload
characteristics, along with a model for a cooperative association for
Internet data analysis. (9/96)
